Fall 2014

Most of Thanksgiving weekend was spent cleaning the boat up, winterizing it, and preparing it for haulout which the marina will take care of for us this week.  We still have to make one trip back to Kingston to finish up a few things before they shrink wrap it for the winter.  Although we spent a day cleaning up the yard at home and putting away the patio furniture, etc., after yesterday’s wind you wouldn’t know it as once again we have leaves everywhere.  Temperatures yesterday hit 26° C.  Today though we’re getting the snow tires installed in preparation for the inevitable arrival of the next season.  Can’t say I’m looking forward to it though.  Instead I’m mentally working on my list for spring commissioning and launch next May.
