Time flies. The last time I wrote it was just Thanksgiving and now it’s New Year’s. After putting the boat to bed for the winter we headed off to Florida for much of the month of November for a little R&R in the sun. We spent three weeks at Treasure Island in Florida before heading home for Christmas only to find out it was still fall here. In fact, by the time Christmas rolled around we were thinking that if it didn’t snow soon we might have to mow the lawn again. We broke all kinds of temperature records in December and some people even got their boats back in the water for a Christmas Day sail. Winter did arrive though with a record-breaking snowfall that started on December 29 and it looks like it’s now here to stay. After celebrating Christmas with our family we had a relatively quiet New Years with a little wine, a little Jimmy Buffett, and a toast to the new year. Best wishes for happy 2016.
